What is TEPSOL?
TEPSOL is an acronym for the Teaching of English pronunciation to speakers of other languages. The core of this course is to teach pronunciation, that is, how to enunciate words. The English language is a global language, hence, a lot of ESL trainers are needed in almost every country of the world. Native speakers can only visit some countries to teach. This gap has made a lot of non natives to teach the English language.
As good as it sounds, the only missing thing is not the grammar but speaking the English language with your native language tone. This is the reason for this course. This course will make you to sound as though you are a native speaker after completion. Make sure to listen to the audio attached to each module as many times as possible and repeat the words after the speaker.
This is a 240-hour course. Learners are exposed to topics like vowels and consonants, transcription, the relationship between letters of English and sounds, Silent letters, Contractions, etc.
